Reverend Lillian Hinds has been the pastor of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church since 2008. She is a graduate of George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. Lillian is also a licensed professional counselor. Before she earned her seminary degree, she was an administrator and counselor at various mental health facilities in Texas. Lillian loves to laugh and one of her favorite quotes is: “Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.”–Groucho Marx. However, her very favorite quote is: “Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary use words.” Lillian is married to Eddie Hinds. Lillian and Eddie have four children and six grandchildren.
Janet Crawford is the Minister of Music at MOBC. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Houston and did post graduate work at the University of Louisville. She has taught orchestra and Spanish in the public schools of Texas, Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia. She is a licensed Musikgarten teacher and currently teaches group piano classes through the UMHB Conservatory of Music in addition to leading early childhood music classes for preschoolers at her church where she is music director. She plays violin in the Temple Symphony Orchestra. Janet is married to Tim Crawford and they have two daughters, Hannah and Esther.
Bridgette Langford is the Minister of Youth at Meadow Oaks Baptist Church. Bridgette Graduated from Logsdon Seminary of Hardin Simmons University with a Masters of Divinity and also has her Bachelors in Biblical and Theological Studies from the Baptist University of the Americas. Bridgette is married to Chris, who is an Assistant Professor of Management at UMHB.
