The scope of our youth and children's ministry ebbs and flows with the needs of our congregation. We always emphasize the importance of Bible Study, Music, and Missions.

We offer Musikgarten programs for preschoolers, choir programs for older children, and graded mission studies.

It has been our custom to host a summer mission camp where children can engage in age-appropriate mission activities, learn scripture, and develop relationships with senior adults in our church.

We host “Trunk or Treat” on Halloween and an Easter Egg Hunt on the Saturday of Easter weekend for the neighborhood.

Our youth have also focused on mission training. In addition to Sunday Bible study and Wednesday discipleship programs, we endeavor to engage our youth in ministry with the community and with our church. While designed with youth in mind, our mission trips have included families, retirees, single adults, and basically, the whole church!

Missions & Worship

For several summers, we traveled to Eagle Pass, TX hosting, book fairs and Bible studies with children. Other summers we have worked with CBF missionaries in Houston and Fort Worth, extending God’s love and Christian hospitality to new immigrants.

At Meadow Oaks we welcome both youth and children to participate fully in congregational worship by reading scripture, singing in the choir, working with sound equipment, or leading a responsive reading.
